When a matter needs another specialist
Outside our work? We'll introduce you to someone who does it.
Some Egyptian matters need a specialist we don't replace, such as shipping, tax or competition. Mahmoud introduces you to a suitable Egyptian lawyer or firm. They take your instruction directly, on their own terms, and nothing about you is shared without your approval.

Clear lines
What an introduction is, and what it is not.
An introduction means
- We identify suitable expertise and explain why we suggest it
- We share only what you approve
- We make the introduction promptly, especially when there is a deadline
- We follow up, if that is agreed and defined in advance
An introduction does not mean
- The specialist becomes part of egyptlaw
- We supervise or guarantee their work
- We take decisions for you
- Your information is shared without your consent
On fees: anything that applies is explained before the introduction is made.
The introduction note
Nothing is shared until you approve it.
Choose what the specialist receives. The note updates as you go.

Examples
How introductions work in practice.
An overseas firm needed ship-arrest expertise
A law firm abroad asked Mahmoud for a quote to handle a vessel arrest in Egypt for its client. He explained that this is not an area he works in, and offered to recommend a specialist. They accepted, and he introduced them to a partner at an Egyptian firm that handles these matters.
A dispute with a tax question inside it
We handle the commercial dispute under our own engagement. A tax specialist, instructed directly by the client, answers the tax question, and we coordinate where the client asks us to.

Questions
What people ask before they start.
Is the specialist part of egyptlaw?+
No. They are an independent lawyer or firm. They decide whether to accept your matter, and their own terms, fees and responsibility apply.
Do you charge for an introduction?+
Anything that applies is explained before an introduction is made, so you decide with the full picture.
Can you stay involved?+
If you'd like, we can agree a defined follow-up, such as a check-in call. Any part of the matter within our own work can be handled by us under a separate agreement.
What if the specialist can't take it on?+
We'll tell you and, where possible, suggest someone else.
What do you share with the specialist?+
Only what you approve in the introduction note. Nothing is sent before you agree.
Can law firms ask for an introduction?+
Yes. Overseas firms looking for Egyptian counsel in a specialist area use the same route.
